Amazing video. I was so impressed with the flutes being able to follow, with all that background drumming from the following orchestra. And it got apparent in the last few seconds that they were not able to fully hear their own members when they carried on with the next tune for a few notes before noticing the rest had stopped.
I every night must watch for one hours before I go to sleep. All of them are talented on the each own. They really put up a very good performance despite the hot sun and long journey ✋👍😋
These young people perform well above any rational expectation - the finest marching band I have ever seen no matter the level of academic prowess. Even their instruments seem to be part of their souls, and they truly enjoy performing. What fine young people these are. I envy such a people who can produce such amazing youth.

Glad they brought the Fanfare back. It worked so well before....love what the new director is doing. Honestly I'm glad they are performing in events like these, rather than being so involved with practicing for the National Marching Finals. This is who and what Tachibana is.... The year grows short for the 3rd year students....always nice to see them perform before their year ends. Thank you Bravo Brass, always a quality video.
I cann't speak for the kids but I think you are absolutely right. And I think the upcoming trip to Tokyo would be exciting, especially after their performance at the Rose Parade. Hope our cameramen are ready for that.

Their repertoire knows no bounds and they have developed a parade compilation which’s so adaptable to any type of parades, when asked to attend, with a polished performance “they won’t let you or themselves down “, an organisers dream and so they should be, considering how much of their time they spend perfecting their performance.👏 The future is bright the future is Orange 🍊

WOW! I've never seen them Slow March before. I like it! Camera work was terrific! They are my favorite High School Band on all continents! We here in America have nothing to compare. Oh, we have great High School Bands, but they march like the military and their stage performances are sitting, where Tachibana plays and dancing for miles at a time, as they did in the Rose Bowl parade...5 1/2 Miles. They do sitdown stage performances of course, but they occasionally do dance moves on stage. They demonstrated all of the above during their stay here in the USA. We do miss them, but at least we can see all their new numbers on RUclips filmed by great folks who wish to spread Tachibana's video's worldwide. Thank you for posting!

These girls put so many professionals to shame! It's music, coreography, endurance (remember that they walk and dance long distances in all types of weather while playing) and generally good looks, the orange uniforms are beautiful. In the particular recording the sound quality is akso excellent, considering the outdoor environment. Kudos! 👏👏👏👍
The date of posting suggests this was well into the season, but the understaffing of most sections other than the trumpets suggests the period between the departure of the seniors and the addition of the new first years. As usual, a little more information on performance date location, and event would be welcome.
Date: 07 October 2018 Location: Okazaki Park, Kyoto Event: Kyoto Student Festival I think they are only missing a couple of members. The head count was about 96 at this time down 11 from the previous year. The unusual formation makes things appear to be sparser then normal. Keep in mind the band size depends on how many student join each year and it can vary a lot. For example, the 2011 band finished with just 68 members. In 2012 more than 60 1st year students were added causing the 2012 ~ 2014 bands to be quite large.

初めて見た時は何故か涙が止まりませんでした。
そしていつも思いますが、ほぼ１人の演奏する鉄琴は凄すぎる。
ステップ踏む度に前後左右に揺れるのに確実にメロディーを叩いてる。
世界に通用する大道芸やエンターテイメントレベルだといつも感心してます。

私は先日に見知った者ですけど本当に感動を噛み締めてます
この映像で歩いているところだけ観てもいかに橘が洗練されているかがよくわかります。
トール先行とヒール先行を上手く使い分けて足のつま先まで神経を使って綺麗です。
橘の場合トールだけで前後移動する事が多いですがそれがとても綺麗で魅力の一つですね。
私も気になっていましたが、普通の靴ですか。足袋のように見えます。

久々に視聴させてもらいました。横に広いフォーメーションで、これまで無かった楽器配置だったんですね。それにしても、どんな場所でも合わせてレベルの高い演奏演技、さすがと言うしかありません。あとは、115期～117期で宇治中出身のメンバーたちが、たくさんいることにも驚きました。

It is also interesting that such an innovative marching band has emerged from the traditional Japanese place "Kyoto".
Look up bands of america marching bands like carmel highschool and hebron they really good and are comparable

京都市南部、桃山御陵の小高い丘の上に、私たちの京都橘高等学校があります。学校創立117年、男女共学になって19年になります。吹奏楽部は1961年創設。バンドの歴史と同じだけのマーチングの歴史があり、お馴染みになったオレンジのユニフォームも1970年代から40年以上変わっていません。「元気いっぱい、笑顔いっぱい、夢いっぱい」が私たちの合言葉です。私たちの演奏・演技で聴いて下さる方、見てくださる方、皆様に笑顔と元気を届けられるように頑張ります！YOU ARE THE BEST TEAM .
This is my favorite band theres only one thing to critique. Their lines aren’t really straight, but other than that they are amazing
6:10辺りの鍵盤打ちながらの、キレのあるジャンプステップと心地よい音のパフォーマンスは凄い！！向こうにいるドラムタムの子は、よくあんな重いの付けてステップ踏めるよね！！打楽器の振動とステップの振動が調和して、足先から脳まで体全体に伝わってるー。東京にオレンジの悪魔が、そのステップの勢いで襲来すると思うと、ワクワクします^^
